Register for Usage
Register for usage through the app.
Registration takes a minimum of 5 minutes. Please have your credit card ready.
(Debit and prepaid cards cannot be used.)

Download the App
Download the “Bike Share Service” app from the App Store or Google Play and register as a member. You can download the app from the buttons below.
If you already have an account from another area, you can use it as a One-Time Member.※You can download without a Wi-Fi environment.

Membership Registration
Follow the on-screen instructions in the app, enter the necessary information, and register as a member (select “Kanazawa City Machi-nori” for My Area selection).

Once registration is complete, you can check cycle port information on the map.
Rent bicycle
Renting On-Site
The unlocking method varies depending on the type of bicycle terminal. Please select the terminal of the bicycle you want to unlock.
Square Operating Terminal

Tap the unlock.

Input bicycle number that starts from KNZ then reserve.

The 4 digit unlock code will appear.

Press “START”

Enter the 4-digit passcode on the terminal to unlock the bicycle and make it available for use.
Round Operating Terminal

Tap the unlock , select “Round Operating Terminal” , and display the QR code scanning screen.

Press the “Start” button on the terminal.

Scanning the QR code will unlock the bicycle and make it available for use.
Reserving in Advance
You can tap a cycle port on the app’s map and make a reservation in advance from the bicycle list.
If you make a reservation, please start using the bicycle within 20 minutes.

Tap the port you want to borrow from on the app’s map.

You can make a reservation by tapping the “Reserve” button on the port details screen. No usage fee will be charged during the reservation period.
Register the membership card (IC card)

- Select “Account” from the tap screen at the bottom of the MAP screen.
- Select “Card Key/Smartphone Key Registration” from the account screen.
- Select the type of terminal you are using for registration and hold the card you want to register over it.
Temporary Parking (except Machi-nori port)

To park manually lock the bicycle.

Press the “START” or “Start” button on the bicycle, unlock it in the same way as when you borrowed it, and then resume use.
Please take note of the following things when parking
- Be sure to return to the port at the end of use.
- Do not park in no-parking zones. Park in parking lots.
Return bicycle
Please return bicycle to the nearestMachi-nori port

Park the bicycle in the cycle port and manually lock the rear lock of the bicycle.

For square-shaped locks, press the “ENTER” button on the bicycle, and when “Return” is displayed on the panel, return is complete.
For round operating terminals, when “Returnable” on the bicycle lights up, press the “Return” button, and return is complete when the ring lights up blue.
Please be careful when returning to ports with limited parking spaces
- Ports with a
display have parking capacity limits.
- If the port is full, please return to another port.
You can return with peace of mind by reserving a return port!

- Press the port you plan to return to and open the detailed screen.
- Press “Reserve this port for return (30 min)
- Once you confirm the precautions, you can reserve a port slot for 30 min.
If the return reservation is outside business hours, please return within business hours.
If you return the vehicle at a port other than the reserved return port, the return reservation will be automatically canceled.
How to Use Electric Assist Bicycles
- There is an electric assist power supply on the left handle.
- Turn on the power and check the remaining battery level before riding.
- The lights turn on automatically when it gets dark

Bicycles with round operating terminals

The operation of the electric assist can cause unexpected sudden starts or falls.
- Do not press the pedals strongly when starting or riding at low speeds.
- Apply the front and rear brakes while stopped, and do not place your feet on the pedals.
- Always start with your legs straddling the saddle.
