How do I register as a member?

Download the app and enter your name, mobile phone number, credit card information.

*After registering as a member, you can easily use the service by registering your card key.

I don’t have a credit card, can I still use the service?

■ For “One-time Membership” and “Monthly Membership”
If you have a Docomo line contract (in your personal name), you can also pay with “Docomo Payment”.

■ For “One-day passes”
Payment is generally made in cash.

Is there anything I need to register?

A smartphone (or a mobile phone that can receive email) is required.

Can I use it on a smartphone that does not have a SIM card ?

You will need to send and receive short messages (SMS) when registering as a new member or obtaining an authentication number when logging in.　This service is not available on devices that only use Wi-Fi.

I’m using a SIM card from a carrier (MVNO) other than Docomo/au/Softbank, can I use it?

We have not confirmed the operation of MVNO SIM cards.
If the SIM card you have subscribed to has a short message (SMS) function, you can physically use it.

Is the app free?

The dedicated app can be downloaded for free.

*The customer is responsible for packet communication charges incurred when downloading or using the service.

Can I register using a family member’s mobile phone?

Since you may want to contact others while riding your bicycle, you cannot register using a smartphone that you do not normally carry with you.

Can I register as a member from overseas?

Yes, you can.

What is “Card Key Registration” and how do I do it?

You can register your transportation IC card or mobile wallet as a “card key” to authenticate yourself when using Machi-Nori.
Once you have registered your card key, you can start using the bike by simply pressing the start button on the bike panel and holding the card over the bike.

<How to register a card key>
Get a passcode from the app. Enter the passcode on the operation panel and hold your mobile phone/smartphone, transportation IC card, or dedicated IC card over the panel to register it as a card key.

*Card key registration is optional. Even if you do not register a card key, you can still use the bicycle with a passcode or QR code.

What kind of IC cards can be used as key cards?

FelICa-compatible IC cards such as transportation IC cards and Osaifu-Keitai can be registered as card keys.

I don’t have an IC card, can I use it?

By reserving a bicycle and issuing a passcode or scanning the QR code, you can use it without using an IC card.

* Using the card key (by registering your IC card) is easy, convenient and recommended.

I am considering a corporate contract. What does it entail?

This plan allows multiple employees to share an IC card.
