If you wish to apply for the Student Discount Plan, please first register as a “One-Time Member.” After that, you will need to complete the procedure to change to the Student Discount Plan at the Machi-nori office.
Procedure required at the Machi-nori office (weekday business hours only).

• Download the App

  Download the “Bike Share Service” app from the App Store or Google Play and register as a member. You can download the app from the buttons below.
  If you already have an account from another area, you can use it as a One-Time Member.

  

  ※You can download without a Wi-Fi environment.

• Membership Registration

  Follow the on-screen instructions in the app, enter the necessary information, and register as a member (select “Kanazawa City Machi-nori” for My Area selection).
  
  Once registration is complete, you can check cycle port information on the map.

  

• Apply for the “Student Discount Plan” at the Machi-nori Office

  Please fill out the necessary information (name, registered ID, mobile phone number, email address, date of birth, purpose of use, etc.) at the Machi-nori office and present your student ID. Once the application screening is complete, we will change your plan to the “Student Discount Plan.” You will be notified of the completion of the change by email or phone from the Machi-nori office.

  Notes on the “Student Discount Plan”

  • A student ID is required to register for this plan. You cannot apply for this plan without presenting your student ID.
  • This plan ID can only be used by the applicant. If it is confirmed that someone other than the applicant is using it, we may cancel this plan or suspend the use of Machi-nori. Please be aware of this.
  • If your student ID expires while using this plan, please visit the Machi-nori office and present your updated student ID. If you do not present it, your use of Machi-nori will be temporarily suspended.
  • This plan is not an unlimited ride plan. Additional charges will apply if the usage time continuously exceeds 30 minutes.
  • Please note that your use may be temporarily suspended if payment cannot be made by the payment method (credit card or d-payment) that you registered in advance due to customer circumstances. If payment cannot be made, we ask that you make a transfer to the designated account. (The transfer fee, etc., will be borne by the applicant.) We will lift the temporary suspension of use once the transfer to the designated account is confirmed.
  • If you wish to change from this plan to another plan or re-register for this plan after withdrawing, you will need to visit the Machi-nori office again to complete the procedure.
  • This plan is automatically renewed every month. If you join or withdraw mid-month, you will be charged a pro-rated amount of the monthly basic fee (+ additional charges).
  • For matters not described in these terms and conditions and the use of Machi-nori, the Machi-nori Service Terms and Conditions shall apply.

• 

  To park manually lock the bicycle.

• 

  Press the “START” or “Start” button on the bicycle, unlock it in the same way as when you borrowed it, and then resume use.

Please return bicycle to the nearestMachi-nori port

• 

  Park the bicycle in the cycle port and manually lock the rear lock of the bicycle.

• 

  For square-shaped locks, press the “ENTER” button on the bicycle, and when “Return” is displayed on the panel, return is complete.
  For round operating terminals, when “Returnable” on the bicycle lights up, press the “Return” button, and return is complete when the ring lights up blue.

You can return with peace of mind by reserving a return port!

• Press the port you plan to return to and open the detailed screen.
• Press “Reserve this port for return (30 min)
• Once you confirm the precautions, you can reserve a port slot for 30 min.

If the return reservation is outside business hours, please return within business hours.

If you return the vehicle at a port other than the reserved return port, the return reservation will be automatically canceled.

• There is an electric assist power supply on the left handle.
• Turn on the power and check the remaining battery level before riding.
• The lights turn on automatically when it gets dark
