Kenrokuen Garden
Known as one of Japan’s three great gardens, the Kenrokuen Garden was created by feudal lords of the Kaga Clan and is a classic example of a strolling garden featuring trees and waterways. Teahouses, bridges, and ponds are skillfully placed throughout the garden. Visitors can enjoy beautiful natural scenery in all four seasons. In the winter, visitors can admire the yukitsuri, a technique where ropes are tied to pine tree branches and arranged in a conical array to protect the branches from heavy snow.
